UPDATE + MEMEBOX HAUL

**UPDATE**: Hello my beauts! Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. These past couple of days have been pretty busy for me with school and work. Since I’m graduating this spring, it’s time for me to start adulting and find a full-time job. Hello, real world!  I honestly miss blogging and I was excited to create this post for you of my haul from Memebox! So let’s just get started!

So what is MEMEBOX?

Memebox is located in San Francisco. It’s an online store that sells Korean brand skincare products, makeup, and tools. It’s VERY wallet-friendly and won’t hurt your bank account unlike Sephora.  Honestly, most of these can be dupes for high-end products. And I must warn you…… K-Beauty always kills it with their most cutest packaging ever that you can’t resist, well for me at least!

I’M MEME I’m Blusher Cream, $5.50: The first item that I bought was a creme blush. I never tried a cream blush before so I was curious to see how this would work. The texture is definitely creamy and it glides on smoothly. The shade “Melody”, is very pink—not to my liking. I’m still kind of iffy about this product because it seems a little too heavy and not as blendable. However, I’ve read on some other reviews that this can also be used as color corrector that I have yet to try. This blush is sold out but it’s in another shade if you want to check it out here.

HOPE GIRL Magic Skin Primer, $12: I was dying to find a silicone based primer and this one is definitely it! I love how the packaging has these gold cheetah prints on it. This is a pink pearl primer that is to be used before putting on makeup and even act as an eyeshadow primer! 2 for 1 product?! #WIN. This primer felt sooo smooth on my skin and it’s a very subtle light pink color. The best part? This primer made my foundation stay matte and oil-free all day.

IT’S SKIN Babyface Natural Eyebrow, $4: Let’s be real. As much as I love my Anastasia Bevery Hills Brow Whiz and Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brow Pencil, I think paying $20+ for an eyebrow product is too expensive. The babyface eyebrow pencil feels cheap when you hold it but it honestly works just as well as ABH and Benefit Cosmetics. I have the shade in grey brown and I ditched my Sephora eyebrow products for this 4 dollah hidden gem. Unfortunately, this eyebrow pencil is no longer available on Memebox but they do sell it at Yesstyle, Amazon, and Ebay!

SKINFOOD Egg White Pore Mask, $12: I found my new favorite pore mask! SKINFOOD genuinely has a good reputation when it comes to their facial masks. The egg white pore mask is “a pore refining mask that contains albumen extract and eliminates pore-clogging impurities”. It doesn’t have a bad overpowering strong smell to it but it’s subtle. Once the mask is dry, it easily washes off. I’ve only tried this mask once so far and my first impression is that I LOVE it. The egg white pore mask made my skin really soft and my skin felt soo much cleaner. You can also purchase this at Ulta for $10.50!

ETUDE HOUSE Secret Brush 121 Skin, $10Remember when the beauty community went crazy over these toothbrush look-alike makeup brush? That Artis Oval Makeup Brush that cost $67+?! Well yea, there was no way that I’m going to spend $67+ for one brush. Nope. No way. UH-uh, not me. I came across the etude house secret brush that pretty much looks like the other toothbrush makeup brushes, just cheaper. I love how the brush is gold and the bristles is actually soft. When I used this to put on my foundation,  let me just say guuurl it was not pretty. My foundation was all streaky and my pores looked bigger compared to when I usually use a beauty blender. It also comes with a sponge that I haven’t tried out yet. Maybe next time, I’ll use the sponge and wet the brush first and see how that goes.

ITS SKIN Babyface Pore Powder, $9: Of course, gotta save the best for last. Can we just take a moment and admire this cute packaging! Ahh! ❤ Let’s ignore the fact that the wings come off but yah know it’s still cute. This is a “pore vanishing powder for smooth and shine free skin”. This powder does absolute justice. I’ve been using this powder everyday for baking and it definitely controlled my oils and I was shine free pretty much all day. Applying the powder on, got pretty messy but no biggie. This powder isn’t on Memebox anymore but you can buy it on Amazon for $13.10. I totally recommend it!

Let me know in the comments if you guys ever tried Memebox before or any of these products! xoxo ❤

  1. I’ve repurchased the IT’S SKIN loose powder multiple times already! It’s hands down one of my fav setting powders. I’ve never ordered from MEME Box.. I’ll have to take a look into them. Normally I order from imomoko 💕
