MARCH 2017: HITS & MISSES

Hello beauts! I just wanted to share to you all my hits and misses for end of this month! This month was my birthday and I received many makeup gifts that I love and tested out which turned my holy grail products into misses!

–HITS–

 FullSizeRender (16)

Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow KitLOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this palette! The colors are gorgeous and I use this pretty much everyday. Gotta make them cheeks pop like a diamond 😉 I have a full review on it here, if you want to read more.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette: Oh Anastasia, you’ve been my favorite this month. Mattes, Shimmer, Warm tones, Berry tones, and Neutrals, are all in this palette that can be used for either a natural look or if you wanna go full glam too. It’s truly my go-to palette for everyday!

Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint: I got this sample size when I redeemed my birthday gift from the Tarte website but you can also purchase it from Sephora if you want them points guurl 😉 I have it in the shade Birthday Suit and it’s just perfect for everyday wear. It’s a nice mauve shade and the texture is liquidy with a velvety feel to it. It’s matte but doesn’t make my lips feel dry.

TONYMOLY Backstage Gel Eyeliner #1 BlackA korean brand eyeliner that glides on smoothly and dries quickly which is a huge plus for me. I have a half monolid and a half double lid eye (if that makes sense), so whenever I put on eyeliner, the product always smudges on top of my eyeshadow which is soo annoying. But the tonymoly eyeliner dries very quickly, is waterproof, and doesn’t smudge at all for me. I’ve found my new holy grail gel eyeliner!

–MISSES–

Wet N Wild MegaLast Liquid Catsuit LipstickThe shade is in Pink Really Hard, and let me tell you….it really is a bright pink. The lipstick itself is great, it’s matte and stays on all day. The only problem I have with this lipstick is the color. This color is hard to pull off and I don’t think it looks good on me. A miss for me!

Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner:  Yes, I said it. This is a miss for me. The eye studio is known to be a favorite for almost every makeup person out there but this just doesn’t work for me anymore. I’ve been using this for quite awhile because of the good reviews and I just put up with it because I couldn’t find another good gel eyeliner. The problem that I have with this gel eyeliner is that it smudges on my eyes, and after many uses (as you can in the picture), it starts drying up and it flakes onto my face. This was the holy grail product with me until I’ve discovered the tonymoly gel eyeliner. Fingers crossed that the tonymoly gel eyeliner doesn’t end up like the maybelline for me!

And there you have it! I didn’t review the bubble tea sleeping mask or the tarte blush just yet….gonna review those in full depth in the next posts so stay tuned 😉 Let me know in the comments if you tried any of these products and whether it was a hit or miss for you. Have a Happy Friday Beauts! ❤

  1. The ABH Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit is awesome! 🙂 I didn’t much care for the Wet ‘n Wild Catsuit liquid lipstick. I can’t remember the color I got but it was so drying. That pink you have looks so different as a swatch than it does in the package. You have some great hits! Thank you for sharing!
